Carhartt & Work‑Jacket Embroidery Digitizing
A farm name on the back of a Carhartt is about as good as workwear branding gets — but heavy duck canvas is one of the toughest fabrics to embroider. Digitized wrong, the stitches sink into the canvas or pucker the panel. We build for the fabric so your logo sits up proud and lasts.

What makes Carhartt digitizing different
Carhartt‑style duck canvas is thick, stiff and heavy. That changes the build:
- Stronger underlay. A heavier foundation keeps the design from sinking into the nap and gives the top stitches something to sit on.
- Adjusted density. Too dense and it bulletproofs a stiff panel and puckers; we tune the fill so it’s durable but still lies flat.
- Big‑format backs. A full jacket‑back logo is a large design — we plan stitch order and travel so a big piece runs clean and wears well.
- Durability. This is workwear. The build favors stitches that survive chores, weather and the wash.
Same thinking covers canvas chore coats, bibs and work vests — tell us the garment and placement.
How it works
- Send your logo or artwork — a photo, PDF, PNG, anything — with the size, placement and thread colors. Don’t have a file? Describe it and we’ll help.
- Check out securely — from $25. That places your order.
- We hand‑digitize it — a real person maps every stitch for your fabric and size. Never auto‑converted.
- Your stitch file is ready the next business day — in the format your machine reads (PES, DST and more).
- Free minor edits until it’s right, and the file is yours to keep — original plus any revisions.

Common questions
- Can you embroider the full back of a Carhartt?
- Yes — a full jacket‑back is a large‑format design and a specialty of ours. We size it to the panel and build it to wear hard.
- Why does embroidery sink into Carhartt canvas?
- The heavy nap swallows light stitching. A stronger underlay and the right density keep the design sitting on top of the canvas.
- Is heavy canvas more expensive to digitize?
- A big, detailed back may be a little more than a small left chest — you’ll see the price.
- What about a small Carhartt left-chest logo?
- We do those too — see our left‑chest page; the canvas build still applies.
