Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ordering custom embroidery digitizing, using your files, and getting a clean stitch-out the first time.

Ordering, Turnaround & Payment

How do I place an order and where do I pay?
Easiest way: order right here on the website — upload your artwork and check out. Prefer not to? You can also message us on Facebook or by email with your logo and details, and we'll send you a PayPal invoice. Having trouble logging into your account? Just email us and we'll get you sorted.
What's your turnaround time?
Standard orders ship the next business day. Need it faster? Our $10 rush gets it done same day. On Fridays, rush orders need to be in by noon to go out the same day. Larger or multi-logo orders may take a little longer — we'll always let you know.
Do you offer rush orders?
Yes — a $10 rush fee gets your order done same day. On Fridays, please get rush orders in by noon for same-day delivery. Just add it at checkout or ask us.
Do you offer discounts for multiple logos?
Yes! If you have several logos to digitize, send us how many and the artwork and we'll put together bulk pricing for you.

Your Files & How to Use Them

How do I download and open my files?
Your files arrive as a zipped folder, so the first step is to unzip / extract it — then open the file inside. You'll get a download link by email when your order is finished, and you can also log into your account here to re-download anytime.
My machine or USB won't read the file — what's wrong?
Almost always one of three things: (1) the folder wasn't unzipped first (machines can't read a zipped file); (2) the file name has numbers or special characters — rename it using simple letters and it usually pops right up; or (3) the format or hoop size isn't set for your machine. Still stuck? Email us your machine model and we'll fix it.
Which file format do I need for my machine?
Common ones: Brother / Babylock = PES, Janome = JEF, Bernina / Melco = EXP, Tajima & most commercial = DST, Husqvarna / Viking = VP3, HUS or VIP. Not sure? Just tell us your machine and we'll include the right file — we provide PES, DST, EXP, JEF, VP3 and more.
Why does my transparent logo look like it has a black background?
A black background in the preview usually just means the background is transparent (no color) — it won't stitch anything. If you actually want a filled or patch-style background, just tell us the color you'd like.

Sizing & Placement

What size will my design be, and how do I size for a hat vs. a shirt?
Placement drives the size. Rough guides: left chest ~3.5–4" wide, hat / cap front up to ~2" tall (cap frames are small — Brother cap frames max out around 2"), jacket back ~10–12". Tell us your placement and your machine's max hoop size and we'll size it to fit right the first time. Ordering for a hat panel? Leave the size blank and we'll set it for the panel.
Can you resize a file you already made for me?
Absolutely. Send us the order details and the new size (and what it's going on), and we'll adjust it. Note that a true resize is re-worked so the stitches still look clean at the new size — it's not just stretching the file.

Artwork, 3D Puff & Revisions

What kind of artwork do you need? Can you use a photo or a low-res logo?
Best results come from a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) or a large, clear PNG or JPG. We can often work from a decent photo, but blurry or tiny images limit detail. If any part of your logo needs to be white or a specific color, tell us — white doesn't show on a transparent background.
Do you offer 3D puff (foam) embroidery?
Yes! 3D puff uses raised foam under the stitches for a bold, dimensional look — popular on structured caps and jackets. It has to be digitized specifically for puff (special underlay, thicker satin columns, and "end caps" so the foam tears away cleanly), so tell us at order time which parts you want raised and the foam color. Not every design suits puff — fine detail and small lettering usually stitch better flat, and we'll let you know.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes. If the design we digitized needs stitch-quality tweaks — adjusting push/pull, fixing density or any stitching issue so it sews out clean — that's included. If you want to change the original artwork itself (adding or removing elements, new text, a different look), that's a paid edit or a new digitizing charge, and we'll quote you first.
Do you also vectorize logos or make print files?
Yes — besides embroidery digitizing, we vectorize logos and set up print-ready files (SVG / PDF / EPS) for banners, signs, magnets, and screen printing. Just send us your artwork and what you need it for.
