How it works
- Upload your artwork and tell us the garment, the placement and the finished size.
- We digitize it by hand. Not auto-traced — stitch by stitch, in the sew order a machine wants.
- You get your file, usually the next business day.
- You sew it out. If anything needs adjusting, tell us and we adjust it.
Rush orders run Monday to Thursday, and Friday before noon. A rush placed over the weekend comes back Monday.
Why hand digitizing, and not the software that came with your machine
Auto-digitizing reads a picture and guesses. It does not know that a cap seam will push your lettering apart, that a piqué polo needs different underlay than a fleece, or that 4,000 stitches of fill in a small area will turn a soft shirt into cardboard.
A person who digitizes for a living knows all three, because they have had to unpick the result of getting it wrong.
That is the difference you are paying for. Not the file — anyone can produce a file. What you are buying is that it sews right the first time, on your machine, on the garment you actually ordered.
What we digitize
Left chest logos, cap fronts, jacket backs, full fronts, sleeve marks, monograms, names, applique, towels and bags. Business logos, team and school marks, church and ministry designs, farm and 4-H brands, and one-off personalization.
If your artwork is rough — a photo of a business card, a faded screenshot, a logo nobody has the original file for — say so when you order. We recreate artwork too.
Questions we get asked
Can you just convert my JPG?
Not in the way people mean. A JPG is colored dots; an embroidery file is a sequence of needle positions, stitch types and directions. There is no button that turns one into the other. Someone has to decide how it gets sewn.
How long does it take?
Usually the next business day. Rush service is available Monday to Thursday and Friday morning.
What if it does not sew right?
Send it back. Stitch-quality revisions are free — push and pull, density, trims, anything that affects how it runs. Changes to the original artwork itself are a separate job, because that is redesigning rather than fixing.
Do I own the file?
Yes. You get the file and you keep it, in every format you need.
What size can lettering go?
Satin lettering below about a quarter of an inch starts to fill in, and small text on a cap seam is harder again. Tell us the finished size you need and we will tell you honestly whether it will read.
